Dr. Jockin is a gentle and compassionate dentist who loves helping her patients by using the most advanced materials and groundbreaking techniques available. She develops customized treatment plans and strives to provide everyone who comes to Lake Park Dental with the best care possible. Dr. Jockin enjoys getting to know each patient, listening to their concerns, and thoroughly explaining treatment options.

Building happy and healthy smiles in the Tampa community is her signature. With various modern treatment modalities, Dr. Jockin has provided the natural-looking, beautiful smiles patients have always wanted.

Education

Dr. Jockin received her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Berkeley, before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of California, San Francisco. Her graduation was followed by an advanced 7-month implant continuum, as well as an implant mini-residency.

Dr. Jockin is only a few hundred graduates of The American Board of Oral Implantology in the US and very few of them are women. There is a rigorous examination process to achieve this title and it takes years of preparation to sit for the exam. There is no higher distinction in implantology and the title of Diplomate confers specialty status in some states.

Her areas of focus include implant dentistry, laser dentistry, endodontics, and restorative and surgical techniques. Dr. Jockin is a proud member of the following dental organizations:

Practicing CBCT integrated implantology since 2011, she values having full control over her patient's dental implant experience. Dr. Jockin is Associate Clinical Professor at UF Gainesville, where she teaches CAD/CAM digital workflows to Graduate Prosthodontist Residents. She inspires, educates and supports digital dentists nationwide as the director of CEREC Seminars.com, a digital training facility located in Tampa, FL. Dr. Jockin is Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology and Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. She is a beta tester and speaker for Dentsply Sirona CAD/CAM and Implants, lecturing on crown down implantology.

In Her Community

Dr. Jockin believes it is essential to give back to the community. Our team at Lake Park Dental annually partners with other organizations to select individuals that will receive complete smile makeovers, free of charge. In addition, we also sponsor local youth teams, as well as the Cheval Cares 5K Run/Walk, which benefits the Pediatric Cancer Foundation.

Dr. Jockin’s husband, Jay, is also a proud board member of the First Tee of Tampa Bay, which teaches kids healthy habits while developing respect for themselves and others through golf. We are pleased to announce that we are establishing a new annual charity tournament to benefit the First Tee of Tampa Bay!

Away from the Office

Dr. Jockin moved from her native home of Muenster, Germany, to the United States in her twenties and currently resides in Lutz, FL with her husband Jay, son Victor, and their new puppy, Hans. Her favorite activities include boating, snorkeling, skiing, and beachcombing.
